We are excited to feature the winner of the 2020 Virtual Mac and Cheese bake-off. Congratulations goes out to Alan and his family on their delectable looking (and we are told it tasted delectable too) Mac and Cheese.
First they made their own fresh pasta in a bowtie shape. Then came a roux based béchamel sauce to which they added Gouda, Raw Milk Sharp Cheddar, Tilsit and Organic Pecorino Romano. To top it off - panko tossed with Parmesan and all baked in the oven.
For winning the Bake Off, Alan and family will receive a box of goodies from Block and Wedge.
Congratulations to Kelly Fine on second place for her Mac and Cheese that had a garlic infused béchamel made with milk from a family farm. Her dish featured Gouda in the sauce and chunks of Chipotle Cheddar and Craft Beer tucked in with the noodles. She will be receiving a t-shirt from Brent, The Cheese Guy.
